The golf course is located in the Almerimar Tourist Complex and was opened in 1976. Designed by Kirby-Player and Associates, it is a mature championship golf course surrounded by beautiful landscapes thanks to the gardens and trees of the Complex and sea views scenery from the neighbouring Mediterranean Ocean.

Included are five holes featuring water, the most challenging being an attractive island green on the 12th hole, giving a tee-shot over 100 metres of water.

The course has broad and shaded fairways surrounded by the exuberant complex vegetation adding difficulty to approaching the greens

The Club has a splendid bar and restaurant service, swimming pool, tennis courts and buggies, clubs and carts to hire.

It is under the chairmanship of Mr. Takeyuki Kawaguchi, and is managed by D. Pedro Zamarra with the technical help of Course Pro Juan Parrón.
